Alex is a father, husband, and resident of Lake Carmel here in the Town of Kent. With his background being a union steward, laborer, and organizer, Alex understands advocacy, leadership, and the needs of working families.
He has been a dedicated advocate for Kent, actively lobbying for state legislation and leading civic initiatives. As a private citizen, he’s volunteered on the Town and County level as a Kent ClimateSmart Committee Member, Sustainable Putnam Volunteer and Repair Coach, Putnam County Land Trust Steward, and advisor to the Putnam County Arts Council.
Alex is running for Town Supervisor to make Kent more transparent, accessible, inclusive, and forward-thinking.
Alex Sewell is ready to bring back accountability, innovation, and collaboration to Town Hall. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant Kent for generations to come.
